Plan Your Move
Lets begin!
Two To Three Months Before:
- Decide on your travel day. If possible, keep your stress off the day before your last day so you can plan to clean up the last day.
- Write your travels and edit your packaging items with Removed Suburbs Removals!
- Discard unused items in your home and garage. Keep a garage sale or give your unwanted items the help.
- Write your local council for advice on disposing of unwanted aerosol, paintings, and chemicals.
- Start packaging items that you do not need like books, linen or invisible clothes. Write your boxes with accommodation and content.
- Edit storage if needed. Tell us the advice.
- Use your refrigerator content and pantry.
- Compare your bigger machines to see if they will be able to get into your new home.
- Go to the post and plan for your email to be redirected.
- Start advising the change of addresses - check out our list of home inspection.
- Give advice to friends and relatives and ask their help!
- Set parking permissions when required at the local council.
- Organize your baby for your kids.
- Make arrangements for safe transportation of your pets.
- Return any borrowed items to your family, neighbors, and friends.
Get Set!
One-Two Weeks Before:
- Set up a final meter for electricity, electricity and water and your new home connection.
- Set aside a separate box for your personal effects on the day of travel eg. License, keywords and documents are important.
- Merge such items as garden tools, brooms, and mops together, to keep the leg.
- Return any DVDs or labels to the tape and get dry cleaning.
- Tell your neighbors and arrange clear access to your house on a daily basis.
- Confirm your residence time.
- Edit home insurance transfer.
- Do not exceed your boxes, they will be very difficult and will lower the removal processes. See our packing advice page.
- Empty drawer content as much as possible and keep packing!
- Draw floorplan where your furniture needs to be installed in your new location.
The Day Before:
- Clear your fridge and make sure the tracks of water are empty.
- Disconnect your washing machine, remove the buttons and disconnect the BBQ gas bottles.
- Combine large items such as trampolines and bookshelves. Disable the equipment and pack in original packages when available. ESR can help you meet/disperse your furniture; please call before you leave if you need help.
- Place all remote controls, rows etc. in one box and label.
- Clear any content left with the drawer.
- Raise the plants in open boxes, mixed, without water.
- Empty jackets.
- Make sure everything without sleep is full!
